I love novelty and hate boredom: going against the conventional advice of putting my head down and focusing on one thing, I like heading in a generic direction of whatever fancies me in the moment.
Thankfully, my mind portrays adequate inertial anchors and what fancies me in the moment evolves at correspondingly adequate speeds.
I do end up missing out on what I set out to do, but, I do end up doing a whole bunch of other interesting things : over time, I’ve learned to enjoy the thrill of not knowing what I’ll end up doing by the end of different phases of my life and the end of my life as a whole.
I wouldn’t particularly categorize this as having plans A,B,C … but more of having a higher order plan that allows for decent flexibility in what I feel like doing.
